With three schemes rejected by their client and given a final chance, an architectural practice approached us to produce a scheme for approval for this 46,000 m² shopping centre which was already well into its structural construction stage.

Having analysed and distilled the brief, we produced a design scheme that immediately won client approval. We were then appointed to quickly produce detailed drawing pack and schedules to dovetail into the construction and procurement programme.

Our design was conceived to impart a sense of cool modernity. Graceful Single span arches divide each mall like ribs within an airship

Light wells are capped with strong vertical louvers to emphasise height and contrast with the long low vaulting of the malls below.

Granite laid in rectilinear patterns is used define zones.

Elegantly canopied stalls sit within the mall like a series of market squares.

A Murano glass water feature pays homage to the artisans of the area and provides a strong visual link.
